Wondering whether it's better to do a preview every new page or just every chapter. From my perspective I think it's really inconvenient having to manually post a preview here every time a new page comes out. Granted I have no idea if I actually retained any of my viewers from here or not, so uhhh if the way you hear about new pages is from Newgrounds then uhhh gimme your input!

Realized I forgot to make a post about this, but here's the NINE GATES website. Now you'll be able to find and read the whole thing in one place without opening 20 different tabs, which is a lot more convenient!
And I'd really appreciate it if you could spread the comic as far and as wide as you're able. Every bit helps.

I realize the timing of this post is really unfortunate but you don't understand, I really wanted to play Elden Ring for two weeks straight. It was a good time and I enjoyed it outside of all the times that I didn't. Anyways there's a new page up of course, which you can find through the link up above or through my NINE GATES playlist.
I'm going to continue using the biweekly upload schedule because that seems to work for me, as much as I'd like to post more pages a month it's just not possible for me right now. I'm one guy and I was dense enough to make the artistic decision to color my pages.
In other news, I've decided to open up a discord server for NINE GATES. Like I said before I know it's probably typical to make an announcement post like this on April Fools day but I'm being completely genuine. If you're interested in learning more about NINE GATES as it goes along, seeing more work-in-progress pages or sketches I don't really post elsewhere, and being an active part of the community, then I'd love to have you!
The rules are as follows:
1 - The minimum age for the server is 18. I don't have a pornography channel or anything, but I would feel uncomfortable posting some of my art in a server full of minors.
2 - Be nice and civil with people. If someone is mean or makes you uncomfortable I'd prefer if you messaged me or any mod so we can discuss it, rather than making a big deal of it in the server.
3 - No hate speech. That means no racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. Generally speaking if I see any of this stuff you're gonna get perma-banned no questions asked.
4 - Be courteous and polite in art channels, if someone just posted their creation 10 minutes ago, either wait a while or see if you can post your thing in another channel.
5 - Try to include source links whenever you post art that isn't yours, I wanna give other artists as much exposure as I can! It's hard enough trying to build a following for your art online without people posting your art without a source.
If these rules are all agreeable to you, then like I said you're welcome to come join. The server may undergo changes in the future but for the time being I expect it to be pretty stable. My activity on discord is kind of inconsistent but unless I'm asleep I'll usually at least hop on to check what's going on once or twice an hour.

For the time being I'm gonna have to change the NINE GATES upload frequency to a page every two weeks instead of one, just so I can build up my reserve of pages again. Thank you to everyone who regularly reads NINE GATES, it means a lot to be validated by an admittedly small viewership.
